A sophisticated stock market simulation game built entirely in SwiftUI with full VoiceOver accessibility. Made by a blind developer, BuiltWithClaude.

🎮 About Blind Markets AI

Blind Markets AI is a stock market simulation game that teaches financial discipline through realistic trading mechanics. It's designed from the ground up for accessibility, proving that blind developers can create world-class iOS applications.

This isn't just a game—it's a learning tool that demonstrates the techniques I use in real-world investing. The same strategies that helped me grow my portfolio are built into the gameplay mechanics.

🔥 Latest Update: Advanced Price Engine

The price engine just got a massive overhaul. Stock prices in the game are now driven by six different layers of market forces that can interact with each other in real time. Earnings reports, press releases, macroeconomic events, sector-wide trends, and plain old market randomness all stack on top of each other.

Good news for a company on the same day as bad economic data? They fight each other and the result lands somewhere in the middle. Two pieces of great news hit at once? You get a super boost. It plays out differently every time.

We built out a full earnings reporting system with quarterly financial results for all 11 companies, plus a press release system with dozens of company-specific news stories that unfold across the 360-day game timeline. There are realistic storylines playing out—partnerships, lawsuits, product launches, government contracts, FDA approvals—and they all have real consequences on stock prices.

The goal has always been to make this feel like a real market, not a random number generator. News matters. Timing matters. Paying attention matters.

🎯 What You'll Learn

The core gameplay teaches my personal investment technique: make a dollar multiply. You invest when stocks are down, take profits when they go up, and reinvest in other opportunities. The game rewards patience, strategic timing, and disciplined profit-taking.

You'll learn to focus on lowering your average purchase price per share, understanding volatility, and managing risk—all in a safe simulation environment where losses don't cost real money.

♿ Accessibility First

As a blind iOS developer, I know what accessible design really means. Blind Markets AI was built with VoiceOver from day one, not as an afterthought. Every interaction, every screen, every game mechanic is fully accessible.

This is what happens when disabled developers create technology—we build it right because we have to use it ourselves.

🤖 Built With Claude

Blind Markets AI is part of my BuiltWithClaude series, showcasing what's possible when blind developers use AI as a coding partner. I couldn't see the screen when I built this, but with Claude's help, I could describe what I wanted and get production-quality Swift code.

This game proves that AI doesn't replace developers—it empowers us to do things we couldn't do alone.

📱 Coming Soon to the App Store

Blind Markets AI is currently in final development and will be released to the App Store soon. Follow my progress on my blog, YouTube channel, or social media.
